Experience the architectural wonders of Indiana and Ohio with Wright Way Midwest: Masterworks of the Heartland. Tour a pristine example of Wright’s Usonian architecture at SAMARA.

Built in 1954, the home is still occupied by the original client and owner. Spend a day touring the famed architectural masterpieces of Columbus, Indiana, ranked sixth in the United States for architectural innovation and design by the American Institute of Architects. See works by such luminaries as Eero Saarinen, I.M. Pei, Robert Venturi and Richard Meier. Travel to Ohio to experience Wright's stunning two-story Usonian design, Boulter House, followed by a tour of Wright's only Prairie style design in the state, Westcott House. Join in a special centennial celebration of the house including an address by Eric Lloyd Wright, architect and grandson of Frank Lloyd Wright. The journey concludes with a visit to Cincinnati and a stay at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza, world renowned example of Art Deco design, and a tour of Zaha Hadid's Lois and Richard Rosenthal Center for Contemporary Art.

Payment Schedule
A non-refundable deposit of $200 per person is due by July 25 to secure your reservation. Final balance is due by August 8, 2008.
We strongly recommend travel insurance.

Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be made directly with the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust either by phone or in writing. Cancellations received between 29-15 days prior to departure will be subject to a cancellation charge of 50% of the tour price. Cancellations received 14 days or fewer prior to departure will be subject to a forfeiture of the entire tour price.

Limits on Responsibility
All services and arrangements for transportation, accommodations and other services and arrangements related to the tour have been made by the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust only as an agent for the passenger. Therefore, the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust shall not be liable for damages, expenses or other financial losses whether to person or property, arising out of an injury, accident, cancellation, delay, alteration or inconvenience resulting from any act of negligence of any hotel, carriers, including air, train and auto, restaurant or other company or person rendering any of the services included in the tour or caused by weather, sickness, strikes, crime, terrorism, acts or negligence of any other tour member or any cause whatsoever. Payment for the tour constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions. The Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust reserves the right to withdraw a tour or any part of it, to make such alterations in the itinerary it deems necessary or desirable, to refuse to accept or to retain as a member of a tour any person at any time, and to pass on to tour members any expenditures, additional expenses, or losses caused by delays or events beyond its control.

Note About Costs
Tour costs are based upon current airfares, tariffs, currency values, and on the basis of a minimum number of participants. While we will do everything possible to maintain the listed prices, they are subject to change. Should actual enrollments fall significantly below minimum numbers, a surcharge may be added. Due to fluctuations in oil prices, a fuel surcharge may be added to your tour fee (e.g. internal flights, cruises, etc.). Details and costs will be advised prior to departure.

Medical Considerations
Please note that this tour requires that participants be in good physical condition: you must be capable, without assistance, of walking a minimum of one mile over uneven terrain and of climbing stairs that may not have handrails. Participants should have sufficient stamina to keep pace with an active group of travelers on long days of touring. Saturday, October 11
Late morning departure from O'Hare to Pittsburgh International Airport. Check in at Omni William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh followed by an orientation sightseeing tour that includes a ride up the Duquesne Incline for a group dinner overlooking Pittsburgh.

Sunday, October 12
Enjoy a morning tour of the architectural highlights of downtown Pittsburgh , followed by an afternoon departure for Kentuck Knob, a deluxe Usonian home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1956. Transfer to the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Spa in Farmington, PA, on nearly 3,000 stunning acres, designated a Mobil Four-Star and AAA Four-Diamond resort.

Monday, October 13
Explore the spectacular Nemacolin Resort and its grounds on your own in the morning, then enjoy an exclusive afternoon tour of one of Frank Lloyd Wright's most famous residential designs, Fallingwater. After the tour enjoy a wine and cheese reception on Fallingwater's bridge. Gather for a farewell dinner in the evening.

Tuesday, October 14
Morning departure from Nemacolin Woodlands Resort to explore the Duncan House at the Polymath Park Resort. A 1957 Usonian home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, the Duncan House was saved from destruction by the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy, relocated and rebuilt at Polymath Park Resort. In the afternoon, enjoy lunch at Polymath Park prior to departing for Pittsburgh International Airport to return to Chicago's O'Hare Airport.
